| Wednesday, July 21 1999 Steffan Peters and Grandeur  Born in Wesel, Germany, Steffan Peters has been in the
United States since 1985 and became a U.S. Citizen in 1992. Together with his wife Janet,
they run a successful dressage training barn in Escondido, California. Riding Mrs. Lila Kommerstad's Grandeur, the 11 year old KWPN gelding by the late stallion John Up To Berry xx out of Cisca x Troubadour, the pair was the highest scoring USET Dressage Team members at the 1999 62nd CHIO Aachen show with a 69.16% in the Grand Prix. Steffan Peters also purchased the four-year-old Rhineland -bred Troll by state stud stallion Tanzer out of a Paradiso mare at the 12th International North Rhine-Westphalian Sales Week held concurrently with CHIO Aachen.
