Sweeping
the Prix St Georges, Intermediare I divisions at Dressage in Florida's
Gold Coast Opener, and Southern Comfort CDI, is Columbian native Dr. Cesar
Parra on his 12 year old Holsteiner gelding by Celebrio. A pediatric dentist from Bogata, Parra had a large practice and was also a professor at the University of Bogota. Due to the political unrest in his homeland he fled the country with his family and has settled in Wellington, Florida to begin a new life in America. Having trained in Germany with the late Herbert Rehbein, he sold his Grand Prix horse Wall Street to Karin Rehbein's student Australian rider Christie Oatley. He currently trains with the legendary German trainer Seigfried "Bimbo" Peilecke, who will be travelling frequently to Florida to work with Dr. Parra and his horses. Cesar has informed us that his horses are for sale, including the talented and internationally experienced Cimbad. Inquiries can be made through DressageDaily by E-Mailing Parra@dressagedaily.com |
