Tami Hoag and the Marvelous Feliki

Hoag and FelikiSteiner's student/partner/friend, Tami Hoag gained more mileage in the 2001 Miami Dade Winter Dressage Grand Prix on her elegant KWPN mare Feliki (Aktion x Joost), to place second (61.000) and in the Grand Prix Special (61.000).

Hoag, a best selling novelist (Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust) is working on her latest novel between shows, which she has revealed is set in the Wellington horsy scene, and will offer much mystery and intrigue. Hoag who dedicated her last best seller, "Dust to Dust", to Betsy and Jessie, will be moving to Los Angeles after this winter, and is currently looking for a facility near her new home.

Riding dressage for only two years Hoag has applied the same discipline and focus it must take to continue to produce her novels, to excel in dressage. Hoag and Steiner purchased Feliki just half a year ago through the partnership of Toin Hoefs and Cathy Connelly. "All this mare wants to do is her best." Said Steiner as we watched Tami's Grand Prix Special, which looked like an effortless ride. "I'm afraid Tami will now think that it is always this easy, which we all know it is not, but with Feliki, it truly is.
