Donnerhall hooked up with Karin Rehbein and togther, the duo conquered the dressage world. Participations in the World Equestrian Games of The Hague (1994) and Rome (1998) and the European Championships in Verden (1997) were good for three team gold medals, two individual bronze ones and one individual fourth place.
