Farbenfroh and Nadine Capellmann
Wowed the Crowd at 2002 CHIO Aachen

With his flamboyant extensions, his white blaze, and four white socks, the "fabulous" Farbenfroh, a 12-year-old chestnut Westphalian gelding, ridden by Nadine Capellmann was the dressage star at Aachen this year, stealing the limelight from his teammate Rusty, the reigning World Cup Champion, by winning the 2002 CHIO Aachen Grand Prix Freestyle, June 30th.

Nadine Capellmann, the daughter of the late renowned international dressage rider, Kurt Capellmann, and Farbenfroh (which means "the colorful one" in German) were 2000 Olympic Team Gold members for Germany at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, and the 2001 European Championships in 2001, along with an individual bronze, will represent her country this September, at the World Equestrian Games, Jerez, Spain.
