Monday, November 15, 2002 Pati Pierucci Going Baroque
"I am really getting interested in the Andalusian for a lot of my amateur riders," said Pati. "They are so sensitive and if you go with the purebred you seem to get the gaits as well as the mind. "I have always been fascinated with different breeds, and that is where my interest in Baroque horses comes from," she continued. "Hipsee was bought from David DeWispelaere from Hampton Green Farm. He gave me my first education in Baroque horses." She said that Hipsee is "lovely to ride and work with and has incredible extended gaits that are easy for an amateur to sit as well as fun for the professional to ride." She plans to do a lot of cross breeding to investigate the competitiveness of warmbloods and Andalusians." Related
