Dressage Show Weekend World Wide
Kalinina had heavy competition from Russian team mate Ella Ivanova on Blesk and Germans Karin Rehbein on Placido (Pik Noir x Donnerhall) and Martina Hannover Sternberg with her newest hit Inara, a 9-year old Holsteiner mare. Rehbein and her Gronwoldhof bred Placido won the Inter I freestyle 70,425% In the Grand Prix, Rehbein continued her string of success, this time on her long-time Grand Prix partner Domanio, a white Hanoverian gelding by Donnerhall x Wohlan. With 71,417% she beat her German friends Kemmer (Albano - 71,333% and Hannover Sternberg (Ratino H OLD - 70,000%). In the Grand Prix team competition, Germany won with three scores above 70%. Finally riding some impressive scores were British Emma Hindle and her Hanoverian stallion Wie Weltmeyer. Although a combination since 2000, Hindle has never been able to pass the 65% at CDI's. In Jozefin, however, Hindle scored 67,760% in the Special. The class was won by Kemmer on Albano with 69,440%. Russian Elena Sidneva took home two trophies, one for her winning ride in the Grand Prix Version B (72,125%) and one for the victory in the freestyle (76,050% ). Sidneva brought along quadruped partner Artax Condor and defeated twice Martina Hannover Sternberg on the Oldenburg stallion Ratino H (by Rubinstein). |
