Attend the #1 Show in the World and Stay in a Castle

Aachen CHIO in Germany is the #1 rated horse show in the world. It is like a world championship every year, where an international equestrian festival features international show jumping, dressage, and four-in-hand carriage driving competition, along with a massive trade fair, entertainment, food, and festivities.

HorsesDaily.com has been ‘On the Scene’ covering the event since 1998, and now at the request of a few friends and readers interested in going to the 2005 CHIO Aachen event, August 23rd – 29th , we have facilitated hotel and ticket arrangements on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. While we are not official tour directors, we have made arrangements with our favorite hotel, a beautiful castle in Heerlen, The Netherlands, just a short drive from the Aachen show grounds.

At this writing, we are working directly with the ticketing office to secure a block of tickets, to include the Dressage competition, and Sunday afternoons Aachen Grand Prix for Show Jumping and closing ceremonies.

We already have confirmation from several top riders and trainers who will be joining us, so if you are interested in coming along, please read on as we have prepared this section to inform our friends of the details.
