Lars Peterson Continues with Success, Record High Score for Marco Bernal and Farewell

Lars Peterson and Dansko's SuccessIn the $1500 FEI Grand Prix earlier in the day, Lars Peterson took the win aboard Success with a 69.236%. “I felt lucky to win the class,” said Peterson, “He (Success) hasn’t been out for three months since the National Horse Show and he is a very hot horse”. Second place went to Ashley Holzer and Imperioso with a 67.986%, followed by Shannon Dueck on Korona with a 65.972%.

Lars Peterson also had a nice win in the Fourth Level Test One class riding Melissa Taylor Yee’s striking grey 7-year-old gelding, Dacardo. Of Decardo’s performance, Peterson said, “He was both awesome and relaxed”. A combination that the judges rewarded handsomely with a score of 70.465%.

A speaking of rewards, the judges still can’t seem to get enough the handsome Westphalian stallion, Farewell ridden by Marco Bernal. Bernal and the 4-year-old stallion toped their score of 80.455% earned on Thursday with a whooping score of 85.386% today in the Training Level Test Two Class!
