Saturday April 23, 2005 Steffen Peters and Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff Take Top Honors at 2005 Las Vegas FEI World Cup Finals
Peters and the 15-year-old Westfalen gelding were unquestionably the winners with a score of 74.292%, taking home the $10,000 check for first place. The pair scored more than 8 percentage points above the second placed Carol Plough, of Riverside, California, and Komo, the 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, who scored 66.208%. Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff of Germany and Renoir-Unicef took top honors during the International Dressage Competition Grand Prix Freestyle—B Final. Linsenhoff and the 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored a 76.150%. Leslie Reid of Canada riding the 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, Mark, came in second with a 74.35%. The B Final is a consolation freestyle competition for the six riders from Thursday’s Grand Prix who did not qualify for Saturday’s FEI Offield Farms World Cup Dressage Final-Freestyle.
