Friday, March 17, 2006 - Happy St Patricks Day!! JJ’s Safety Tips for Trailer Travel DressageDaily’s JJ. Hathaway is the road manager for our travels. He has changed many a tire, and dealt with too many blow outs, pulling our RV with our F550 truck. Our new RV, purchased from Gigi Stetler of RV Sales of Broward, now 1 year old, has been perfect, but in all our years on the road, we like others have our road war stories. JJ likes to drive, his favorite part of all his duties, so when he had a rare break in his schedule he was able to help our friend Tami Hoag (author of Dark Horse among other top selling mystery novels) move from California to Florida to train for the winter in Wellington with Betsy Steiner. Tami’s horses made the trip by air, and so did JJ, to California, where he was picked up by a driver and delivered to the farm where Tami’s horses had been. Tami had prepared JJ a cooler of goodies for the long drive, and he began his trek across America driving her truck and horse trailer packed with furniture and boxes for her Wellington apartment. JJ had learned a few thing about tires, and trailers, and is sharing his story with DressageDaily. It might save your life and the life of your horse, so please take the time to read…… |
