Reality TV Show’s Cast, Crew and Supporters Celebrate Filming’s Finale

RV Sales of Broward Rewards America’s Next Equestrian Star with a Grand Prize

Gigi Stetler“I did it to help get the show on the road,” stated Gigi Stetler, president of RV Sales of Broward, about her sponsorship of the television series The Search for America’s Next Equestrian Star. Stetler and RV Sales of Broward will award the individual crowned “America’s Next Equestrian Star” with a $50,000 four horse trailer, complete with living quarters, and a number of additional prizes.

The Search for America’s Next Equestrian Star was a television series filmed in Wellington, Florida, over the course of three weeks. In addition to Stetler’s RV donation for the winner, RV Sales of Broward, which is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, also provided housing for contestants during the filming. These costs were valued at over $10,000. The show is hosted by the legendary, six-time Olympian and four-time medalist, Robert Dover.

“Gigi has truly been a godsend for the program,” related Dover. “Because of her and RV Sales of Broward, the kids have been housed in great RVs for the last month and have the amazing opportunity to win a gorgeous four horse trailer, with full living accommodations in front.” He added, “Gigi is just a wonderful person and a true supporter of equestrian sport and our community.”

Gigi Stetler, Robert Dover, and Nona GarsonThe Search for America’s Next Equestrian Star was a test of passion and commitment. After scouring the country for the cream of the riding crop, six individuals who possessed a rare combination of unique talent and lofty aspirations were selected for the show. All six believed they have what it takes to follow in Dover’s footsteps and become an all-time great rider. The show was filmed and produced by Brave St. Productions, a New York based television production company.

The six finalists competed for the chance of a lifetime: an opportunity to become Robert Dover’s assistant and train with him in the future. The competitors were subjected to a multitude of mental and physical challenges over the course of the show. Arrangements have not been solidified on what television station will broadcast The Search for America’s Next Equestrian Star as of yet, or when it will debut.

Stetler is known for her continuous contributions within the equestrian world. She reflected upon her donation as just another way of giving back to the equestrian sports that she loves so much. Stetler sponsors multiple equestrian events, including The Garden State Horse Show, The Hampton Classic, Hits-on the-Hudson, LittleWood Horse Shows, The Winter Equestrian Festival, and will be adding several more venues to her travel itinerary this summer.

RV Sales of Broward has been in business since 1986, specializing in both sales and rental packages that fit every budget. “Most consumers are tired of the high cost of hotels, and a recreational vehicle seems like a logical solution. With high costs, often you need to sacrifice quality to save a few dollars. Not to mention, I have had many inconvenient experiences with hotels that have challenges with pets and all the other common things that usually follow the ‘horsey’ set, like lots of dirt. It’s nice to come home to a place that is all yours, even when you are on the road for long periods of time,” remarked Stetler.
