"My horse has fully recovered from the minor injury he sustained and he's back in full training, but the CDIO Rotterdam is just a bit too soon for us," Laurens van Lieren said. "My route [to WEG qualification] will be via a smaller show in Hickstead, England, at the end of next month. I want to have my horse optimally prepared for a start there." The rest of the Dutch A-team will be competing in Rotterdam, though, in order to confirm and improve their current show shape. Judy Reynolds Qualified for 2006 World Equestrian Games Irish international rider Judy Reynolds qualified to represent her country at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany. Reynolds achieved her WEG qualification score at the CDI Barzago in Italy last weekend. FEI Dressage Committee Chairman and "O" judge Mariette Withages-Dieltjens [BEL] awarded the 25 year old Naas,Co Kildare native and her Grand Prix mount Rathbawn Valet a score of 64.58% to clinch qualification for the World Equestrian Games. Linsenhoff and Paprocka Win CDI Barzago At judge Vincenzo Truppa's CDI show in Barzago, Italy, German Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff and Italian Anna Paprocka Campanella won the big tour classes. Linsenhoff crossed the German border to ride Sterntaler Unicef (by Sion) to victory in the Grand Prix (74.50%) and Kur to Music (77.050%). Local hero Anna Paprocka-Campanella won the Special aboard Andretti (71.880%). Truppa's daughter Valentina took the blue in the Prix St Georges (70.30%) and Intermediaire I Kur to Music (76.450%). CDI Le Touquet and CDI Neubeeren EU-CH Preparation for Youth Riders Two international youth competitions were hosted last weekend in Europe and served as preparation for the 2006 European Pony, Junior and Young Riders Championships held in July. In Neubeeren (GER), The individual finals of the CDIO tour were won by Dutch Lorraine van den Brink on Murdock (Young Rider division) and by German Tom Berg on Borodino (Junior Rider division). They won the Kur to Music in their division with 75.350% and 73.550%. At the CDI-PJYR Le Touquet a big pony battle took place between the Dutch and German pony riders. Lydia Camp won the Kur to Music on Dulcia (75.500%) but the consolation finals and Individual test were won by Dutch Maria van den Dungen on Milkshake and Hertenhof's Sunlight. In the Young Riders' class, the top rankings were more consistent. Geert Jan Raateland won all three classes on Unterwelt. In the Kur he scored 75.050% %.
