45 days before the World Equestrian Games open in Germany, the 400,000th ticket was sold today. A dressage fan from the USA ordered it via the telephone hotline.

“We are quite happy for everything to continue like this,“ comments Michael Mronz, member and spokesman of the OC of the WEG Aachen 2006. Over one third of the tickets have been sold abroad, “this underlines the high internationality of the event.“ Tickets are still available for many interesting competitions. They can be ordered from the hotline on +49-(0)241-917-1111. All further information on the World Equestrian Games and ticket sales is available online at www.aachen2006.de.

Around 20 employees are currently occupied with dispatching the tickets to destinations all over the world. Half a million visitors are expected to attend the event from August 20th – September 3rd. 16 gold medals will be awarded in seven equestrian disciplines.
