Saturday October 14, 2006 Evi Strasser and Foto Tyme Successful at CDN Bremen
Riding her up-and-coming mount, the seven-year-old Westphalian gelding Foto Tyme, Strasser took third place in the Prix St. Georges, as well as fifth in the Intermediaire I. "His performance in the Prix St. Georges was very confident," commented Strasser, who added that it was Foto Tyme’s first time competing indoors. "The Intermediaire I was held at night under the lights with a full stadium. He coped extremely well; I could not have been more pleased with him." Strasser also contested the Grand Prix division with her 2006 World Equestrian Games mount, the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding, Quantum Tyme. The duo placed 11th in both the Grand Prix, and Grand Prix Kur to Music. "It was an amazing venue, but the difference for all the other riders is that they can show indoors every week, and we only have one indoor competition a year," stated Strasser. "So it is hard to prepare for something like this, except to travel and compete in Germany." Related Links |
