Who's Who: Jenna Darlleen Wyatt

For horse lovers it is hard to imagine loving anything as much as we love being with our horses. Imagine having something you love as much as riding and being equally good at both. For Jenna Wyatt of Fayetteville, TN, it is a daily struggle that she gladly endures. In addition to being a top dressage rider, trainer and clinician, she is a talented and recognized singer and songwriter.

“I have dual battles of music and horses. Everyone who knows me knows that. Basically I am horses by day and music by night. Traveling can cause conflict; something always has to take the back burner. I am still learning the art of balancing my two passions.”

Jenna grew up riding on the East coast. Her parents had always been into horses. In fact, her first riding experience was while she was still in the womb. Her parents literally built a barn in their back yard that held their five or six horses. It started with reining, barrel racing and western pleasure which graduated to showing AQHA horses by age seven. At nine, Jenna started competing hunters on the southeast circuit. This soon led to showing jumpers, which quickly led to her next passion—eventing. Jenna successfully evented through the preliminary level before she fell (not literally) head over heels for dressage
