After a successful season last winter at the new facility is West Palm Beach, The Gold Coast Dressage Association, and the Wellington Classic Dressage series have announced their dates for 2008 and upgraded and updates sponsorship, advertising and vendor information. It is important for the community which benefits from the efforts behind creating this opportunity to support these shows in any way they can. Now is the time to start planning for the busy Florida season, which continues to grow offering unique and exciting opportunities to the South Florida Dressage community.

The response from the competitors, officials, advertisers and vendors has been overwhelming in their reaction to the quality facility at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center on Forest Hill Boulevard, just east of the Wellington community. With large permanent stabling just outside of all the arenas, a cool covered arena, excellent footing and real bathrooms, it’s no wonder the shows being held there are full of entries with a waiting list.

The facility which is also across the street and part of the Okeeheelee Park with a public golf course, walking and biking paths, and boating facilities, also as over 80 miles of trails preserving the eco system of a region which has experienced extreme urban sprawl.

Now is the time to start planning for the 2008 winter season. We at Phelps/Hathaway Enterprises, DressageDaily and PhelpsPhotos have begun to map out our 2008 On the Scene schedule. While we are still determining our plan for next summer/fall, we have our dates for Florida in place.
