American Bred Horses Triumph at the 2007 Markel/USEF National Young Horse Dressage Championships

US Bred Awards Presented By Chesapeake Equestrian Events

Hecker-JacksonAngela Hecker-Jackson did not have to travel far to compete for the fourth consecutive year in the 2007 Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Championship, and this year her Kentucky bred Oldenburg stallion Rolex H was the highest placed American bred winning the cooler sponsored by Chesapeake Equestrian Events. Bred on her family's Kentucky farm by her father Heinz Hecker, the chestnut stallion by River H out of Gina by Gonfaron also competes as a jumper.

"You have a very, big, uphill horse. He has a nice canter and three out of the four changes were clean and he covers ground in the extensions," Hilda Gurney said. "He has a lovely canter and I'm sure he has a great future."

Hecker Jackson has continued to have much success in the region training young horses and developing their breeding operation. Read More....
