Peters Dominates Grand Prix Competition at Del Mar Classic CDI “I was really excited Lombardi’s good combined Grand Prix and GP Freestyle scores at this CDI can be a qualifying score for him for the 2008 World Cup. Also, I was extremely happy about Lord Chalk Hill’s performance and score of 69.5 percent in the I-I. He is only seven and to do so well in I-1 was rewarding. He is becoming more engaged and confident in the test,” Peters said. The Del Mar Classic CDI, held in Del Mar, California Nov. 9-11 was organized and managed by KP Events. The show was a dream come true for Kim Keenan, KP Events president, and vice president Nikki Peccorelli as this was the first CDI they’ve hosted. And their efforts helped fulfill the dreams of the many exhibitors and sponsors during the Del Mar Classic CDI. Competitors, sponsors and exhibitors were thrilled that the show, which was a CDI-WYJ, managed to be held so soon after devastating wildfires blazed through much of Southern California. An impressive panel of judges was on hand for the show and included Jessica Ransehousen, Uwe Spenlen, Jennie Loriston Clarke, Bernard Maurel, and Joan McCartney.
