I get this question all the time...If my trainer has a wreck while hauling my horse, will his/her, Care, Custody and Control Liability cover the death/injury of my horse? This is a great question and actually I will cover the importance for individuals to have their equine partner insured for Mortality and Medical/Surgical coverage, and also for trainers to have adequate Care, Custody & Control coverage for their Training or Riding Instruction business.  Normally, in this situation, the horse owner would file a claim under their Mortality and/or Major Medical insurance to be paid by their insurer. If the trainer was at fault in the accident your insurance company has the right to subrogate (bring legal action) against the trainer to recover the money they just paid you.

Victoria Max-Theurer was a sovereign winner aboard Blind Date

Munich – Austrian Victoria Max-Theurer was a sovereign winner in today's Horsebox Austria Grand Prix Special presented by Fürst Fugger Privatbank. The 28 year old Olympian bought the 11 year old mare Blind Date this spring from the former coach of Isabell Werth, mister Wolfram Wittig. After the Grand Prix Vici decided to start in the special although she was qualified to go into the kur. The decision paid off big time. There was a 3% difference between her and runner up Concalo Carvalho riding for Portugal. He and his stallion Rubi did a good job and finished in 71.417%. The combination gave a much better impression than in yesterdays NÜRNBERGER Grand Prix. Weather conditions improved somewhat overnight. Mild rain didn't keep the people in Munich from watching the exciting battle between some of the world's best riders. It was a tight battle, Lisbeth Seierskilde and Dorothee Schneider were only 1/1000 % apart in this 25.000 EURO class.

“We use Back On Track Products on all our horses. We use the leg wraps, and the sheets. I have shirts that I use myself and I have clients who use the elbow support.  We use them on everybody all the time,” said top dressage competitior and coach, Michelle Gibson. She continued, “The sheets, especially in the winter, we will use on the horses all night, and the leg wraps will also go on all night. The horses warm-up a little bit looser, more relaxed, and easier if they have worn the product.” The Back on Track company manufactures joint and muscle protection, which are manufactured from a "ceramic textile" which is sold under the registered brand name Back on Track. The textile is made up of fibers of polyester and polypropylene (some of the products are mixed with cotton fibers) with a ceramic powder fused into the fibers. The ceramic gives the fabric its unique property, which reflects body heat in the form of infrared heat radiation. Gibson said, “When I travel to give a clinic, a lot of times on the airplane it’s cold. I’ll wear a Back On Track shirt just to stabilize my body warmth. It makes a difference when I arrive to the clinic sight. My muscles aren’t cramped and tight.”
