Hampton Green Farm Herd Reduction Sale This Saturday “Thermometer” for Young Horse Sales During Challenging Financial Times
"I am expecting some exceptional stock to go at very reasonable prices, but sometimes this is the way good horses get into the right hands. Kim Boyer, HGF"

Tom Reed
Excitement is building for an exciting opportunity this Saturday August 21, for buyers in search of quality PRE stock bred meticulously for Dressage. Kim Boyer, owner of Hampton Green Farm in Fruitport Michigan is offering a selection of her young horses, and you need not be present to view the selection or even to bid live. But for those making the trip to the scenic region and beautiful farm, prospective buyers will have three days to preview the stock handled by presenter Tom Reed of Medieval Times as well as attend a benefit open house and luncheon of the day of the event.
“This is the best group of young stock I have had the privilege to work with.” Tom told DressageDaily. “They all have great temperament and movement.”
“We are happy to host the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Lakeshore for the Open House this year, and it is a good way to translate the excitement for the auction into something that will also help a great local program.” Said Kim Boyer, known for her frequent philanthropic efforts done at Hampton Green. “As for the auction itself, we think it will be a real thermometer for young horse sales during these difficult times.”

Shoppers attending in person will enjoy the annual open house which this year will benefit Big Brothers and Sisters of the Lakeshore. Chef Fredo Boyer is preparing a picnic lunch including an ice cream bar for the children. A musical performance will feature the stallions and riders of Hampton Green Farm. The event is being covered by local TV and Radio.
Doors to the Barn and Arena will close to the public prior to the 4PM start of the Auction, Saturday August 21. Buyers there in person will have had three days to view the young horses handled by presenter Tom Reid of Medieval Times. On-Line buyers may bid in advance to the sale, providing their low and high bid, or may wait and bid on-line live, thanks to technology provided by JKBid Auctioneers.
Please check the sale website hamptongreenauction.com often for more updates to the times, schedules and program.
