Wellington, FL – The Horse of Course, Inc, one of the nation’s premier tack shops specializing in dressage tack, clothing and supplies, is pleased to announce they are sponsoring dressage rider Caroline Roffman. The Horse of Course carries an extensive selection of breeches, show clothes, custom shadbellies, and a complete selection of dressage tack including the most advanced dressage saddle on the market, The Sommer Flextra Eq and the Sommer Spezial. “The Horse of Course is thrilled to have Caroline join our team. She is an amazing rider who, even though she is still young, has dominated the dressage arena for many years already,” said Beth Haist, CEO of The Horse of Course. “Caroline has a great future ahead of her and we certainly want to be along for the ride.” In 2010, Roffman was named the Rising Star by the FEI and in 2011 she rode into history books when she won the Young Adult Brentina Cup Championship at the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions at Gladstone along with three Reserve Championships at the Markel/USEF National Young Horse Dressage Championships at the Lamplight Equestrian Center.
Based out of Wellington, Florida, Roffman trains with Danish Olympic star Lars Petersen, and has started her own dressage training and sales barn, Lionshare Dressage, with fellow dressage rider Endel Ots. “In addition to being a fantastic dressage rider and trainer, Caroline is also an amazingly sweet person with a heart of gold,” Haist said.
Haist added that during the USDF FEI-Level Trainer’s Conference, Roffman wore breeches from The Horse of Course. “Caroline is a great model and a perfect spokeswoman for our dressage attire,” Haist said, adding that The Horse of Course donated black polo shirts and fleece jackets to all the participants at the Trainer’s Conference.
The Horse of Course is a strong supporter of the equestrian community and travels across the country with their mobile store, attending horse shows and sponsoring classes. “Dressage riders from around the world rely on our products, clothing and saddles and we really do feel like we are partners in their show careers,” Haist said.
