[image]The Dutch website horsus.nl reported that Siril Helljesen can be the first Norwegian dressage rider who will compete at the Olympics in 60 years. To make this Olympic dream come true, five sponsors have joined to arrange for Siril's financial support on her way to London. Siril said to HorsUs: "This is a big help! Keeping horses at this level and competing internationally is very expensive. These five sponsors are each related to equestrian Norway and have made a financial package which makes it much easier to concentrate on training and competing and preparation for the Olympics. I am very grateful for this help."

Siril Helljesen competed at the EC in Rotterdam. She became 13th in Grand Prix scoring 71,26%. Find all results of the EC 2011 at dressagedirect's website here
