Cesar Parra and Furst Fabio Ace the
Intermediare Freestyle

Dr. Cesar Parra lit up the ring with his disco medley freestyle.  Riding Furst Fabio, an 11 year-old Rheinlander gelding by Fidermark, Parra took the blue in the Intermediare I freestyle with a 71.417 percent and had onlookers bobbing their heads to the beat.  From “Got to Get You Into My Life” by the Beatles, to “Boogie Wonderland”, Parra’s freestyle was lots of fun and technically precise. His pirouettes, extended trots, and trot half passes were the highlights of his ride on the super fancy gelding who seemed to glide across the arena with ease. “I told my team I just wanted to go in and have fun, and if we win, it’s even better,” Parra said.  “It’s my favorite music…I guess that tells you how old I am!” he joked. At the end of the day, Parra was just ecstatic to have Furst Fabio back in the show ring, and was thankful to God and his team who he said made his win today possible.
