Florianus II - Westfalen

Florianus II made his 2009 North American show ring debut a winning one with Grand Prix victories at Dressage on the First Coast and PVDA Dressage, with scores above 70%. Before his importation, Florinaus ascended the ranks from young horse classes to Grand Prix. In 2007, he won over 22.000 € making him the most successful Westfalen dressage horse in Germany. Nationwide he placed 11th. Over the years, Florianus II earned placings in 65 classes with Karin Rehbein. As a young horse, he successfully participated at the 2003 Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and the 2004 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden.

Florianus II is a son of one of the most popular and prolific sires of the modern era - Florestan I. Among Florestan’s many well-known offspring are the young horse champions Florencio, French Kiss, Fürst Heinrich and Fidermark, as well as top Grand Prix horses such as Floriano. Florianus II has an equally strong mare line. His mother is the St.Pr.St. Die Dame, who won many tests for young riding horses and elementary level jumping classes.

Florianus II is also becoming recognized as a sire. His offspring earned him 2nd place in the Get of Sire class in Dressage at Devon in 2010. His daughters Floraya ISF and Florence ISF were named 1st Premium at their keuring. Florence ISF also won the USADF East Coast Breeders Finals Foal Championship. In Germany, Florencia was successful in her mare performance test, earning an 8 on rideability, 7.5 on gaits and 7.8 in showjumping. Florianus II is approved by the Hanoverian Verband, Oldenburg Verband, AHS and the KWPN.
